Dana Martin is an accomplished writer, and educator in Philadelphia. With over 15 years of experience in college counseling and teaching, she empowers students and families on their educational journeys. Dana's powerful writings focus on embracing life's struggles and finding inspiration in adversity. She shares valuable insights on college access, parenting, navigating Black experiences, urban teen issues, and more. As a respected college advisor, Dana has guided thousands of students through college preparation, applications, and financial aid management. She is a sought-after speaker on college access issues and has been featured in various media outlets. In addition to her writing, Dana currently serves as an Assistant Principal, driving a school wide postsecondary culture and also organizes pre college workshops and college tours for local organizations. She currently serves as the Director of Education for For Black Girls Online. With a rich educational background, Dana is a proud Central High School and Temple University graduate. Her passion for connecting people and college counseling drives her to make a lasting impact on students' lives.
